The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation at Rhode Island College invites applications for the above full-time academic year position. As Head Coach, the individual is responsible for all aspects of the women’s basketball program (recruiting, conducting practices, games’ strategy, scheduling, academic monitoring, etc.). In addition to the position’s primary responsibility, this individual will also be responsible for specific aspects of the Student-Athlete Support Program.
Established in 1854, Rhode Island College is a comprehensive institution of approximately 9000 students, located on a 170-acre campus in the vibrant and historic capital city of Providence, Rhode Island, in close proximity to the academic and cultural resources of Boston and New York City.
Required qualifications include: Bachelor’s Degree and at least three years of successful experience coaching at the intercollegiate level; knowledge of the NCAA; its rules, regulations and philosophies.
