Assist the head coach in planning and organizing all phases of a Division I basketball program. Recruitment and evaluation of prospective student-athletes and related regional and national travel. Scouting of assigned opponents. Organize and manage opponent film exchange. Assist head coach in preparation and conduct of practices and games. Liaison to designated campus support departments and athletic departments (i.e. residence life, equipment). Coordinate and direct team and individual camps and clinics. Coordinate outreach efforts with community, alumni, supporters. Assist the head coach in any other areas deemed necessary.
Bachelor's degree required
Working knowledge of Division I NCAA rules and regulations
Two or more years coaching experience at the high school and/or collegiate level; and/or collegiate playing experience
Ability to recruit within and knowledge & understanding of NCAA and Big Sky Conference rules & regulations

The Northern Arizona University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics sponsors 15 men's and women's NCAA Division-I programs with more than 350 student-athlete participants.
