Anderson University, a NCAA Division III institution and a member of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference, is accepting applications for the full time, dual role position of assistant women’s basketball coach / head women’s golf coach.

Assistant Basketball Coach Responsibilities: This lead assistant coach position includes recruitment of prospective student-athletes, use of recruiting software, scouting/video breakdown and assisting in game plan development, assist with all aspects of practice and game preparation as assigned by the head coach, and assist in monitoring student-athletes’ academic progress. Other duties as assigned by head coach.

Head Golf Coach Responsibilities: Includes recruitment of prospective student-athletes, practice and match scheduling/oversight – fall & spring seasons, travel arrangements, budget management, and monitor student-athlete’s academic progress. Collaborate with Director of Athletics & Development Office related to fundraising opportunities.

Qualifications:   
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree (required).  Previous coaching experience (collegiate preferred); a clear understanding of NCAA III philosophy and the student-athlete experience; ability to recruit in Indiana and contiguous states; ability to work as a part of a team environment.  Must demonstrate the ability to communicate with a diverse student body, faculty and staff, effective problem solving skills and personal initiative. Must meet university lifestyle expectations.

Benefits:   12 month, benefits eligible position.
