• Support and perform duties as assigned by the Head Coach
• On-court instruction during practices and games; instruction of student-athletes on all related principles and rules for team concepts and player development
• Provide instruction to athletes regarding physical health and safety
• Successfully research, scout, evaluate, and contact prospective student athletes
• Maintain recruitment related correspondence
• Game day planning and management
• Reinforce academic success as a priority of student athletes and work with student services to complete attendance and grade checks.  Supervise the study hall
• Assist in the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of practice and game plans
• Maintain the Letters of Intent system through NJCAA
• Oversee the negotiation of scholarship offers to prospective student athletes, ensuring any commitments fit within the total number of available/funded scholarships
• Assist with player supervision during trips to and from games and discipline as appropriate
• Active involvement in community service activities
• Assist with the marketing and promotion of the Three Rivers College Athletics programs
• Maintain player eligibility records and team statistics
• Inform new student athletes of requirements for academic transfer and professional/technical programs and/or degrees
• Assist student athletes in clarification of education, career, and life goals
• Maintain an exemplary standard of conduct, which reflects the highest level of professionalism and good judgment

Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree is required; master's degree preferred.  Valid driver's license is required.  Minimum of two years of experience competing at a college level or comparable experience required.  Coaching and/or professional playing experience preferred.  Evenings, weekends, and travel required.
