Responsibilities: Assists the head coach in organizing, preparing, and conducting individual and team practices, training, and competition Assists in the identification and recruitment of potential student-athletes Provides guidance and assistance to student-athletes on a range of personal issues, as required Assists the head coach with the student-athlete academic success Assists head coach with all additional duties as assigned Maintains compliance of all University of Indianapolis, NCAA DII, and GLVC policy and procedures

• A minimum of 3 years' coaching or playing experience at the collegiate level
• Commitment to the philosophy of NCAA Division II level intercollegiate athletics and a dedication to the philosophy and the policies of the University of Indianapolis, the department of athletics and the NCAA
• Quality writing and speaking skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with student-athletes, parents, faculty, administrators and outside constituents required
• Must possess good knowledge of NCAA compliance
• Must pass any NCAA required program for recruiting off campus
• This position requires a valid license and a clean or acceptable driving record according to University Policy
