Qualifications include previous high school or collegiate level coaching experience and a minimum of an associates degree with a bachelors degree preferred.
Southwestern Community College (SWCC) is one of 15 public community colleges in Iowa. The main campus is located in Creston, with a population of 7,597. Enrollment is approximately 1600 students. Varsity teams compete in the following sports: men's basketball, women's basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball, cross country, track and field, sports shooting and golf.
