Coaches student-athletes individually and in groups, and demonstrates game techniques Develops game strategy and position assignments Plans coaching and practice sessions in accordance with NCAA and conference regulations Other Oversees recruiting efforts, travel arrangements, program budgeting, equipment management, and gameday preparations Recruits diligent students and creates and promotes a culture of academic accountability and success Promotes the department of intercollegiate athletics and the women’s basketball program through community events, public speaking, fundraising, and marketing Monitors and maintains the discipline and conduct of student-athletes to support the image and reputation of the athletics program Ensures adherence to all NCAA, conference, and Tarleton rules by student-athletes, assistant coaches, and support staff.

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and ten+ years’ experience working in intercollegiate basketball. A master’s degree is preferred but not required.
