The position of Head Men’s Basketball Coach in the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (UWL) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics (“the Department”) reports directly to UWL’s Director of Athletics. The coach will manage the daily operations of a Division III intercollegiate basketball program competing in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (“WIAC”), with responsibilities including, but not limited to, the supervision of the assistant coaching staff and the planning, recruiting, coaching, developing, implementing, and administering of the men’s basketball program (“UWL Men’s Basketball”) to meet University and Department objectives. The coach must conduct themselves in such a way as to enhance respect for UWL, the Department, UWL Men’s Basketball and UWL student-athletes.
