Clarkson University, New York State’s highest ranked small research institution is located in the northern Adirondacks in the college town of Potsdam. The Department of Athletics at Clarkson University, a Division III member of the Liberty League, is seeking a Women’s Basketball Head Coach. This is a 10-month position with full medical and retirement benefits. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: providing effective leadership in each of the following areas in relation to women's basketball: recruiting, teaching/coaching, counseling, marketing, alumni relations, fund raising, and sport administration. It will be necessary to prioritize and balance these activities in a manner that best promotes and advances their sport within all Clarkson University, Liberty League and NCAA rules and regulations.

2-4 years previous collegiate coaching experience. Demonstrated commitment to furthering the goals and objectives of both, the University and Athletics Department, Ability to successfully recruit quality student-athletes, Understanding of the role of the student-athlete in a competitive academic/athletic environment, and Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to a variety of constituency groups.
